P-51 Dove of Peace P-51 Mustang Dove Of Peace The pilot of the Mustang "Dove of Peace" waves to the race fans as he exits the active on the way back to the pits.

AT-6s go into line astern at 2nd pylon The AT-6s start to go into line astern as they come upon the 2nd pylon at the start of the race. Getting the pole position is critical in any AT-6 race.

AT-6s turn around the race pylon. AT-6 at the Pylon turn AT-6s are close together as they make the first turn around the race pylon after coming down the chute in a small space of air. All pilots must complete pylon school before they are allowed to race. This view is looking SE toward the start finish line and the stands which most people at Reno never see.
