Sample Wedding Photos

Julie got married in a Catholic church here in Portland Oregon this past July of 2000.

Aside from using the Kodak Portra 160 NC film that I use, I also will take photographs in Black and White.

Naval officers suits, alongside white dresses, allows some nice tonal characteristics to be recorded. There is no 5 stop contrast range when compared to dark suits and a white dress!

All images can be viewed in a larger size by clicking on them. The files sizes are from 20 to 50K in JPG format using 15% compression.

The church wedding. Image taken using 8 flashes.(2 on camera.) The Exchange of Rings Coming down the isle. The happy bride and groom. Same 8 flashes were used.

Outside in the daylight. Bridesmaids whooping it up. A study in black and white. The only way to show the long train. Shot using a 105mm and two on camera flashes in The Portland downtown Hilton.
